Developing effective play when numbers up.
Objective. Create opportunities for the attackers to play against smaller numbers.
Organization. Basic game field with 2 small goals near the corners at one end and a larger goal at the opposite end. Field is divided into two zones.
Rules. The team attacking the large goal (orange) starts with the ball in the smaller zone. They have a 3v2 advantage. In the large zone is the goalkeeper and a 1v1. The objective is for the 3 attackers to keep possession in order to play a high quality pass into their striker, orange #9. After the ball crosses the line dividing the zones one orange player may follow it in creating a 2v1. When the blue team wins the ball the game is free, (no area restrictions) and they attack the two small goals.
TIC. The attackers must use their numbers to their advantage. Composed play under pressure.
