Passing in lines

In this picture the players have lined up across from a partner and are passing a ball back and forth. Is this a childs view of the game? Is there enough stress to build concentration and composure? Will they learn how to work together to solve a soccer problem? Does this help in understanding the timing of a pass? Is it soccer?
