No-wall Slam

"Simple play is also the most beautiful. How often do you see a pass
of more than 40 meters when 20 meters is enough?"2
Johan Cruyff

No wall slam

No-wall slam requires an astute measurement of space and rules. Distance, size, goals and starting points are easily changed. In this example the players each have one touch and the ball must touch the ground between the grids. To score a team must pass the ball through their opponents back line, (marked by the cones.) A team can also score when their opponents miss their grid, when the opponents let the ball stop, when an opponent passes to his teammate and the ball leaves their grid or when an opponent uses two consecutive touches. The player that is receiving the pass has to decide "should I play it back directly or lay it off to my teammate?" His teammate needs to read this and to prepare for the answer. This game helps to develop kicking skills, touch on receiving and communication between players. A supply of balls should be kept near each grid to reduce chasing.
