Four square is a good replacement for juggling. The ball approaches the player from different angles, there are many repetitions, it is easy to set up and the players are competing against each other. Each player starts in a numbered grid. The grids have a value with one being the lowest and four the highest. The object is to knock out players in grids above your own so that you can advance to the top. The player in #4 tries to see how long he can stay there. To start a player can kick the ball from hand into another players grid. That player can let the ball bounce once, then has to return it into another grid and so on. This continues until someone misses the grid or allows two bounces. The player that loses the point moves into square one and all the players below him move up one square. Additional players can be rotated in and the rules adjusted for the level of the players.
